1. Install the framework and CLI

   pip install "dexpot[cli]"

2. Define an application

   Save this as main.py:

4. Call the real HTTP surface

   The responses are JSON:

   {"id":7,"name":"item-7","price":9.99}

You can also run the file directly:

The path capture is converted to `int` from its annotation. The POST body is decoded and validated directly into `ItemIn`; malformed JSON or validation failures return 422.
